The past two decades have introduced unparalleled changes in technology, which have significantly altered the way we create newspapers. Beginning with the introduction of the Macintosh in January 1984 - with an amazing speed of 8 MHz at a cost of $2,500 - and followed in the same year by PostScript level 1, the decade prior to 1993 brought incredible change to our industry.
